After The Rain was a world premier of a new work by Compagnie XY, inspired by Derry City and the resillience of citizens in Northern Ireland in sustaining 25 years of peace-building.

It has been an absolute honour for In Your Space Circus to be involved in After The Rain as lead producers.

For us proud Derry people, to watch local individuals embrace the performance and get involved in lifting each other, holding each other and supporting each other has been an unforgettable experience. 

Full credit to our local Northern Ireland/ Ireland-based acrobats Ali, Henrik, Jacob, Ashton, Aoife, Maria, Graham, Carys and parkour artist George McGowan for an awe-inspiring performance. Skill levels unmatched, and bursting with pride we thank you for your trust and for jumping into this project with both feet (literally!).

Thank you to our Derry-based and world class musicians - Marty Coyle, Mark Doherty & Abby Oliviera as well as Maurice Kelly and Allegri Choir. They  collaborated and pushed their creative boundaries to take this production to the next level, providing not only the music for the performance, but the narrative and message too. 

Our fabulous partners-in-circus; Circusful, Ulster Presents, Imperial War Museums have been a pleasure to work with. We've learned so much through this collaboration and are grateful for all of the guidance, advice and the opportunity to produce such a special production.
